After a really rainy June, July was fun in the pool. We tanned and beached it often. Victoria went to her first concert and practiced for Varsity kickline. Vincent went to football workouts and worked on AP summer projects while improving his xBox 360 skills. (I don't get it, I guess I never did. Video games lost their appeal for me when I lost my job of "girl handing the quarters" to the guys.) Daniel practiced driving like all 17 year olds do, and worked part time. Together , we toured the Met (That's the Metropolitan Museum of Art- not the sports team), we went to the pre-season Giant game that almost went into overtime, but Big Blue's defense is awesome this year and they won in the last 15 seconds of the game. Vin, Toria and I went horseback riding on the local trail. So fun, but heart-in-your-mouth scary as we were near the Southern State Parkway, and horses really are far off the ground! Would definitely go again. We fished and clammed in Bayville on Tim and Sandy's "Summer home". The kids and I met the grands up at Aunt Kathy's in Wellsville. Fresh air and star lit nights; and met with all the great cousins there. Roasted some corn, brought in the cows on Gary's new "toy", had some Texas Hots and beat Aunt Cath in Flinch!
