Hey!
Went on another trip with the kids! A great day at Alley Pond Park's Cultural Festival! Everyone danced and saw beautiful birds of prey. The costumes and performers were terrific, and so were the parent chaperones, and the kids! Love my job! June 2011

St. Pats 2011

Hellllllo,
Okay so we had another great St.Patrick's Day party! Family and friends showed up in their green and ate, and ate, and ate! And drank--but not like we used to! A little calmer, and the kiddies had fun. We missed Walter and Arlene with all of our hearts, but celebrated the health that we do have. It could always be worse. (Right Denise! UGHHH). I will put the pictures up soon, but my mac makes me put them to the desk top first. Technology is greeeeeeeat. Dad almost forgot the music, but we had a request. And we all know Tim knows all the words. Erin-go-braless, and all that jazz!

Bluefish Tournament in Bayville

The REEL HAPPY started before the crack of dawn. Captain Tim, First-Mate Sandy, and Crewman Dan put in the time to try to conqueor the"Bay". The weather was grey, but they caught one 15 inch bluefish! See the teeth! They had better luck at the wonderful raffles. Tim wanted the boat but won a fire extinguisher and Dan won a $50 gift certificate to Zorn's Chicken! A bad day of fishing be

God Bless America

Hi Everyone! As we remembered the lives lost on 9/11/01, we also celebrated the freedom America gives us. At H Frank Carey's opening football game Caitlin sang God Bless America, Louie read a poem, and our principal spoke of the loss of live in our country and community. The marching band played beautifully, the Pirettes held red, white and blue balloons in addition to the school colors. The clear weather reminded us of that day nine years ago.
The cheerleaders were athletic, and made the Carey "Crazies" even louder! The fans in the stands always have fun. Dawn and I smiled big for the camera! The band sounded great. Our dance team performed beautifully! We can't wait to see their full out dance at the next home game. They only performed their POM because at half-time the 5 and 6 year old Warrior teams put on a show! Break out TDs for both sides! The crowd cheered and we all laughed!
The team beat New Hyde Park and everyone got to play. Thanks to the Bove Family for hosting the dinner the night before the game.
Vincent is # 52!
Victoria is the seventh from the back when they lined up on the field. The Pirettes Dance Team have white long sleeves, the cheerleaders have orange.
A beautiful start to the season.

Shipping with Chip, Chris and Flash! Thanks to our tour guides as they explained the importance and safety of loading horses for transport. We appreciate their patience and a real live experience as Flash almost loaded herself! LOL! They even let us play on their jumps. We had a great time!
